Expert FAQs

We have made it as easy as possible to sign up as an Expert, with many fields pre-populated if you are a member of Linkedin. To maintain the quality of experts, all applications are reviewed by myzento.

If your application is unsuccessful, please continue to build your experience and expertise and reapply at a later date. Note, we cannot give any specific feedback as to why applications have been turned down.

At this stage, you cannot directly promote your profile. The visibility of your profile is directly determined by ratings received from consultations, the time you are available for myzento and the closeness of your expertise to users’ questions.

The method of communication between the Expert and those asking a question is agreed at the point of engagement. Suggested platforms are Skype, Facetime, Zoom and WhatsApp. Please share details at this stage. In addition, please use email to share documents.

Yes. You choose the communication platform your question will be answered on with your selected Expert. The numbers participating are determined by the platform, not myzento.

If, for any reason, you are unhappy with the answer you received from the Expert, please send us an email with a description of your problem. Your payment will be reimbursed within 5 days. Please also leave a rating for the Expert. To minimise chances of this happening, please spend time assessing the Expert’s ability to answer your question through instant messaging.

This is for you and your Expert to agree on. During the selection process, you instant message an Expert. If you are happy and you want to move ahead with your selection, you agree between you the best way to communicate. We recommend using such platforms as Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp or Facebook, which will make it easy to converse and share relevant files.

Payments

All payments are made through PayPal. Once you have selected an Expert, you are redirected to PayPal to make an online payment. When the session is completed satisfactorily, the Expert will be paid. If for any reason you are not happy with the session, please email us with a description of the issue. We will then review with the Expert and either arrange a refund or come back to you with reasoning as to why not.

As an Expert, value comes from your years of experience and ability to provide an answer rapidly to a user’s question. It is up to you how much you charge above a minimum fee of £5.

Myzento will deduct 25% from any consultation fee. Subsequent interactions between an Expert and user away from the myzento website is down to you, and will not be subject to any fee from myzento.
